E.C DeMun Artwork Home

Hello and welcome all. I am E.C DeMun and I am using this site to display my artwork. I have been keeping much of it confined to my sketchbooks, folders, and computer files and by putting my work on internet, I am hoping to expand my horizons professionally. Here you will find art from high school as well as current, and ongoing projects.

As of September 2008, I have been a student at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington and studying English as my major. Currently, I am attempting to work on a portfolio to turn into the Art Department so that I can make Studio Art or Graphic Art as my major. When I am not studying or working on art, I am often found in watching movies and television shows -- either on a television set, computer screen, or theater screen. Those are the things that I have found inspired me most: pop culture.

Among those things, the subjects that inspire me most are different time periods and other cultures such as south american or asian cultures. Looking through other people's eyes have allowed me to grow and expand my knowledge along with my creativity. As of late, the 20's, 40's, and 80's fashion and trends have really driven me to draw more in a more dated fashion, as I am mesmerized by how different things were as compared to the life I live now.

As far as this site goes, I always welcome input as it will allow me to grow artistically, so, please do not hesitate to comment. Browse and enjoy!
